Interstate Travel... Beware!

When traveling interstate; just because state "XYZ" honors your Massachusetts Resident Firearms License, it does not mean you are allowed concealed carry between Massachusetts and "XYZ". See the Firearm Owners Protection Act for more Information.

Even though federal regulation allows interstate transportation of firearms as stipulated in 18 U.S.C. Section 926 A,  the Firearm Owners Protection Act, it is unlawful to transport or possess a firearm in states that have enacted firearm licensing requirements unless your firearm license is issued or recognized by
those states.

Also note, if you have a Massachusetts Non-Resident Firearms License, reciprocity agreements may not apply.  See USA Carry for more info on Non-Resident reciprocity.
